Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Welcome to "10 Goal Setting - Manifest" ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our iOS application. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

The App stores the following user-generated content locally on your device and optionally in iCloud:

  • Goal entries — goals you create, track, and complete
  • Gratitude entries — daily gratitude journal entries
  • Achievement data — streaks, completion history, and progress records

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information (PII) through the App.

3. Anonymous Identifiers

When you first launch the App, a random UUID (Universally Unique Identifier) is generated and stored locally on your device. This identifier is used solely for analytics purposes and cannot be linked back to your identity. No PII is collected or associated with this identifier.

4. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with the following third-party services:

Anthropic Claude API

We use the Anthropic Claude API to generate AI-powered reports and insights based on your goal and gratitude entries. When you request an AI report, the text content of your relevant entries is sent to Anthropic's servers for analysis. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this data processing. Firebase

We use Firebase for:

  • Analytics — anonymous usage statistics to improve the App
  • Crashlytics — crash reporting to identify and fix bugs
  • Remote Config — feature flags and configuration management

Firebase is operated by Google. See: firebase.google.com/support/privacy

Mixpanel

We use Mixpanel for analytics to understand how users interact with the App. Data is processed on EU-based servers. See: mixpanel.com/legal/privacy-policy

ApphudSDK

We use Apphud to manage subscriptions and in-app purchases. Apphud processes transaction data provided by Apple. See: apphud.com/privacy-policy

Apple CloudKit

If you have iCloud enabled, your data is synced across your devices using Apple's CloudKit infrastructure. This data is stored in your personal iCloud account and is subject to Apple's privacy policy. See: apple.com/legal/privacy

5. Data Storage

  • Local storage — All app data is stored locally on your device using SwiftData.
  • iCloud sync — If enabled, data is synced to your iCloud account via Apple CloudKit. This data is encrypted and stored by Apple.

We do not maintain our own servers or databases containing your data.

6. Data Security

We take the following measures to protect your data:

  • All network communications use HTTPS encryption
  • API keys and sensitive credentials are stored in the iOS Keychain
  • Data at rest benefits from Apple's device encryption
  • iCloud data is protected by Apple's encryption in transit and at rest

7. Notifications

The App uses local notifications only to remind you about your goals and daily journaling. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and are not sent through any external push notification service. You can configure or disable notifications at any time in the App's settings or through iOS Settings.

8. User Rights & Controls

You have full control over your data:

  • Delete all data — You can delete all app data from the App's settings screen
  • Manage notifications — Enable, disable, or customize notification schedules
  • iCloud sync — Enable or disable iCloud sync through iOS Settings
  • Uninstall — Removing the App deletes all locally stored data

9. GDPR (European Union)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

  • Right of access — Request a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Right to rectification — Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Right to erasure — Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Right to data portability — Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Right to object — Object to processing of your data for specific purposes
  • Right to restrict processing — Request that we limit how we use your data

Legal basis for processing: We process data based on your consent (by using the App) and our legitimate interest in providing and improving the service.

10. CCPA (California)

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

  • Right to know — Request information about the categories and specific pieces of data we collect
  • Right to delete — Request deletion of your personal information
  • Right to opt-out — Opt out of the sale of your personal information. We do not sell your personal information.
  • Right to non-discrimination — We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights

11. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at chernyshtar@gmail.com and we will promptly delete such information.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. For significant changes, we will notify you through an in-app notification.

Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using "10 Goal Setting - Manifest," you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

The App is a goal journaling and daily manifestation tool that helps you set, track, and achieve personal goals. Features include:

  • Goal creation and daily tracking
  • Gratitude journaling
  • AI-powered insights and progress reports
  • Streak tracking and achievement history
  • iCloud sync across your Apple devices

3. User Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create within the App, including goal entries, gratitude entries, and any other user-generated content. By using the AI report feature, you grant us a limited license to send your entry text to the Anthropic Claude API solely for the purpose of generating your requested report.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

  • Subscriptions are managed entirely through Apple's In-App Purchase system
  • Pricing is displayed in the App and may vary by region
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID settings
  • Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policy
  • No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods

5. AI-Generated Content

The App offers AI-generated reports and insights powered by the Anthropic Claude API. Please be aware that:

  • AI-generated content is provided for informational and motivational purposes only
  • It does not constitute professional advice (medical, psychological, financial, legal, or otherwise)
  • AI outputs may contain inaccuracies or may not be applicable to your specific situation
  • You should not rely solely on AI-generated content for important decisions
  • We are not responsible for any actions taken based on AI-generated content

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
  • Use the App to transmit malicious content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems connected to the App
  • Use the App in a way that could harm or overload our third-party service providers

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these terms.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from:

  • Your use of or inability to use the App
  • Any AI-generated content provided by the App
  • Unauthorized access to your data
  • Any third-party service interruptions

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Use or is harmful to other users or the App. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. You may also terminate your use at any time by uninstalling the App.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
